Role – Production Operative

Description
Nano Purification Solutions Ltd employs around sixty employees here in the UK and US and from it is manufacturing bases serves hundreds of customers based all over the world. We have a strong brand name in the design and manufacture of quality solutions for the treatment of compressed air and gas aswell as products in the nitrogen generation sector. Working within a small manufacturing team with your main purpose to satisfy the production requirements of works orders and sales orders in line with the Company’s work instructions and quality standards and procedures.
Key Tasks
- To provide components, assemblies, and finished products to specification and to ensure output targets are met
- To complete in an accurate and timely manner any paperwork relating to product builds instructed by the Company
- To adhere strictly to work instructions in the manufacturing of product and to always maintain agreed quality standards and procedures
- Always take ownership and responsibility ensuring safe working practices are followed and make it a priority to always work in a safe manner for themselves and their colleagues
- Maintaining and suggest improvements regarding quality and efficiency of build where appropriate
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and actively participate in 5S in their work area
- Drive and manage 5S within the production cells
- Work with the Quality Department to support their drive to deliver NRFT improvements and elimination of scrap
- Occasionally additional hours of work may be required to achieve sales orders
- Any other tasks or assignments as requested by the Company
Required Skills
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment with understanding of medium to complex assembly techniques – Desirable but training will be given
- GCSE Math’s and English - Desirable
- Good punctuality and time and attendance – evidence of this will be asked and required
- Good team working skills – ethics and attitude
- Needs to be able to work in an effective and efficient way under time constraints
Reporting structure – Day to day reporting to the Production Team Leader
Starting Salary – depending on experience (reviewed after 6-month probationary period)
Working Hours – 39 hours per week in Team Valley, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear
Holidays – 25 days excluding public holidays
