Production Pattern Cutter/Garment Technologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Pattern Cutter/Garment Technologist, to join this hugely successful Ladies Softs and Wovens supplier, based in their London office. 

The company has established itself as a prominent player in the manufacturing and supply of quality women's garments for the UK and larger European market. From the start, our clients’ focus has been on crafting ladies multi-product fashion, contributing to the landscape of some of the leading UK brands.

Job Description

• Candidate to be responsible for creating initial patterns and also working on other pattern alterations and amendments following customers fit comments and taking garments through to production.
• Working with the creative pattern cutters to ensure the best results following fit comments.
• Multi product, working on tailoring, dresses, and some soft separates across various levels of the market.
• Measuring garments and filling in corresponding customer workbooks prior to fit meetings.
• Attending fit meetings with customers where required.
• To be responsible for filling in graded specs supplied by customer and checking these are accurate and complete.
• Liaising with the customers to ensure their expectations are being met.
• Liaising with the team in Romania and factories to ensure all information is clear and workable for production.
• Clearly following the sealing process through to delivery of the finished product.
• The candidate should have excellent skills on Gerber and Excel.
• Excellent pattern cutting skills and an eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
