The Production Planner is responsible for overseeing the efficient execution of manufacturing orders and related components within a designated product range. The primary focus is on meeting customer requirements regarding quantity and delivery dates, while also managing and maintaining agreed product stocks. The role involves providing clear instructions to all relevant departments to ensure seamless coordination in achieving these objectives.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure precise execution of manufacturing orders, aligning with customer specifications for both quantity and requested delivery dates. This critical responsibility forms the cornerstone of operational success, ensuring seamless production processes that meet the high standards expected by our customers.
Customer-Centric Engagement:
Dedicated to exceptional customer service, provide responsive and accurate support to the sales office. Address inquiries related to customer orders and extended realistic lead-time estimates for potential new orders. This customer-focused
approach is pivotal in maintaining strong client relationships and meeting their evolving needs with efficiency and professionalism.
Efficient Process Management:
Expedite specific customer orders, guaranteeing the timely fulfilment of commitments to the sales department, and promptly address any arising issues. Simultaneously, resolve production bottleneck challenges, expedite internal manufacturing processes, and liaise with the Materials department for seamless tracking of purchased parts. This dual focus ensures a proactive and responsive approach to challenges in the production pipeline, facilitating a streamlined and efficient manufacturing process.
