Production Planner Benefits:
Up to £40,000 pa.Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 16.30 Friday 08.00 - 15.30.Blackwood area.20 days plus bank holidays.Company events.Career progression opportunities.Pension.Free snacks.Production Planner Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintaining a six-week forecasted production plan for two sites to meet customer demand while ensuring maximum efficiency for the business.The production of accurate and timely KPI's to include plant and labour utilisation OTIF performance and plan adherence.Working with the Production Team to agree standard minute values for production tasks and the generation of daily / weekly operating reports.Monitoring stock levels, ensuring the there is sufficient stock to maintain consistent and efficient manufacture of required products.Report on finished goods stock value and inventory lists to management.Organise stock transfers as and when required, including all the relevant paperwork.Ensure all paperwork is issued to production in a timely and controlled manner, and that it is held securely to protect the confidentiality of the business and products.Demonstrate a good understanding of allergen control and segregation when planning production, to minimise the risk of cross contamination.Monitor production performance versus expected/planned and providing reports to the management team and suggestions on increasing efficiency.Assisting in stock takes as and when required.Identify and seek continual improvement in processes and systems, with a view to improve data collection and overall performance and delivery efficiency.Interpret information from the system and cross reference with your plan, regarding production requirements.Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules. Production Planner Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Relevant degree level qualification within a relevant supply chain discipline or experience within the planning environment of a FMCG business.Proven experience in planning and demand forecasting within the consumer goods industry.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, demand planning software)Flexible with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at one time.Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.Effective team playerGood communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.For immediate consideration, please forward your CV to Kayleigh at Vibe Recruit today.
