Description
- Manage and optimise the production planning process to maximise efficiency.
- Work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to align production with demand.
- Ensure the timely delivery of products to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including volume and quality.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and address any issues that may impact production schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
Profile
A successful Production Planner should have:
- A solid understanding of the FMCG industry and its production processes.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of relevant software for production planning and inventory management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- A degree or relevant qualification in a related field would be advantageous.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £29,000 to £31,000 per annum.
- Working hours from 7am - 4pm with flexibility.
- Generous holiday entitlement of 24 days plus bank holidays.
