Position Overview:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand whilst maximising efficiency and minimising costs.
- Coordinate with various departments including manufacturing, procurement and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and collaborate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status, address any issues and prioritise urgent orders.
- Prepare reports and presentations to provide insights into production performance, identify areas for improvement and support decision-making processes.
- Arrange for machines to be serviced and to liaise with engineers to come in to maintain machines, to ensure they are running efficiently and safely.
- Using an internal CRM system called Print IQ, training is provided for this.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production planning related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and implement solutions.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
Salary/ Package:
- £35,000 - £40,000
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30am - 5pm
- Company pension
- On site parking
- 20 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays
