Time Appointments are currently recruiting for a dynamic and fast paced business who are one of the fastest growing companies within their sector, due to their recent growth they are looking to appoint an experienced Production Planner. The successful candidate will take responsibility of managing the scheduling and timelines of the production process to ensure the company meets all deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of assembly orders on time and to the quality standards set by the business.
  • Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
  • Ensuring that all new Customer orders are monitored and all Job Cards are produced in a timely manner and that orders are then included in the Production Schedule.
  • Liaising with Procurement to ensure that shortfalls in products are ordered for delivery in time for production of order to meet Customer due dates.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to resolve any production disruptions, meeting production KPI targets and identifying ways to improve production efficiency.
  • Be involved with and support any audits within the department and comply with all internal/external audit resources and certification bodies.

  • Possesses a high level of resilience and drive, able to be flexible and change direction as required and work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrates first class attention to detail and team working skills.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and administrative skills
  • Pragmatic and adaptable attitude towards work
  • Drive and passion to grow and succeed in the business
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and make well informed, considered decisions.
  • The interpersonal skills necessary to develop and sustain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Able to work accurately with detailed information.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problems solving skills.
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.
