Production Scheduler
Annual Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Ipswich

We are seeking a dedicated Production Scheduler to manage the scheduling and timelines of our production process, ensuring all deadlines are met. The role involves coordinating material and equipment availability, scheduling production, and monitoring the production process for efficiency and quality.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of customer hose assembly orders, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Issue the Weekly Production Schedule and share requirements internally.
Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure readiness for production.
Monitor new customer orders, produce Job Cards in a timely manner, and include orders in the Production Schedule.
Liaise with Procurement to ensure product availability in advance of production needs.
Work with the Operations Manager to resolve production disruptions and improve productivity.
Manage job cards for all orders, ensuring accuracy and reflection of exact customer requirements.
Identify opportunities for improvement as part of the business and quality management strategy.
Support audits within the department and comply with all internal/external audit resources and certification bodies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Excellent IT skills - Excel & ERP skills are essential.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- Clean Driving Licence.
- Pragmatic and adaptable work attitude.
- Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and sustain effective relationships.
- Ability to work accurately with detailed information and under pressure.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and team working skills.
