Job Description
- Plan and schedule production orders in line with demand and capacity.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely production.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
- Analyse production data to identify areas of improvement.
- Resolve issues that could impact production schedules.
- Prepare and present production reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Planner should have:
- Experience in production planning within the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and inventory management.
- Proficiency in using planning software and tools.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments.
