A global Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator / Production Scheduler & Quality Coordinator to be responsible for ensuring that all Raw Materials and Packaging Inventories are maintained for production, and for translating business requirements into achievable production & distribution plans. The Production Scheduler / Supply Chain Coordinator is also responsible for administering the Quality System.
Supply Chain Coordinator / Production Scheduler & Quality Coordinator responsibilities include:
Using MRP in SAP, procure Raw Materials and Packaging to support the factory
Maintain inventory levels in line with monthly targets whilst maximising service
Plan production activities in line with inventory budget targets as needed
Communicate with Customer Service Department regarding orders for key accounts and any potential customer delays
Cover all planning roles including TM Supply Chain Specialist to enable holiday cover etc when required.
Ensure the quality system is complaint with current ISO requirements working closely with Quality Manager
You will be a Production Planner / Supply Chain scheduler ideally with at least 2 years production planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have experience using MRP, planning tools (SAP is highly desirable) and experience of reducing inventory whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels.
A high level of computer literacy, including advanced Excel skills will be essential.
Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with different departments and external suppliers
