Production Planning Manager
Location: Hartlebury Worcestershire, DY10 4JB
Salary: GBP37 - GBP40k per year, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37.5 per week

Benweld Secure is a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of armoury storage solutions, including secure weapon storage, secure walling, armoury & vault doors, serving hatches and bar-sets, all to protect against physical attack, blast and ballistic protection where multiple threat mitigation is required.
Production Planning Manager - The Role:
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Production Planning Manager based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire.
Tasks and responsibilities.
• Coordinate materials & resource for the production workflow. Determine the raw materials and components required to cover production demand.
• Management of the overall production plan
• Monitoring of production process with the Production Director
• Working with Quality Control to identify opportunities for product rationalisation, effective category management to resolve current lead time challenges.
• Maintain relevant reporting systems and define action plan/s to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Address issues and obtain output information (number of units and defectives)
• Evaluate performance metrics.
• Create and manage the ongoing demand forecast.
• Collaboration with the operational and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure an efficient S&OP process.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all required materials.
• Supplier Performance reviews and reports
Production Planning Manager - Skills/Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate will have a flexible attitude to work, along with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrable experience as a Production Planner.
• Good knowledge of Production Planning and Quality Control principles
• Must have experience in MRP.
• Analytical and numerically astute
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong, effective relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Assertive, resilient and welcomes change.
• Proactive approach to cost saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to schedules.
