Production Shift Lead

Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division are recruiting for an experienced Shift Lead to join a thriving fast moving manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire.
The Shift Lead will work rotational shifts Monday to Friday (Mornings, Afternoons & Nights on rotation).

The Shift Lead will be the go-to for all departments and act as support for the people management function, whilst extracting results and analysing data. The Shift Lead will liaise with all value streams within Production, Maintenance Engineers, Quality, Health & Safety and Dispatch.

Responsibilities of the Production Shift Leader will include:

• Communicating accurate detailed shift reports and handovers from the afternoon & night shifts
• Monitor performance to metrics, manage resources and priorities to achieve targets
• Drive forward and promote a continuous improvement and safety first culture
• Supporting production operations in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Monitoring the process, OEE and target achievement whilst driving activity and performance
• Identifying and managing change whilst effectively engaging with the team

We are looking for experienced Shift Leads with the below skills and experience:

• Analysing data and results
• Previous team leader/management/supervisory experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment with a focus on TPM and OEE
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• KPI and target driven
• A safety-first approach with a strong grasp of quality
• IOSH qualified who is prepared to work towards completing the NEBOSH qualification
