A rare opportunity has arisen for a people-focused Production Supervisor to lead our Production Team through a period of high change and guide them to continuous operational success.

Our Production Supervisor will:
- Have day to day operational responsibility for allocating and supervising work, working via our Technical Team Leaders as well H&S team, process chemist and production planning to ensure production schedules, quality and safety standards are all met
- Engage the team using lean techniques such as Gemba walks and 5S to deliver outstanding performance
- Resolve escalated technical and operational issues
- Lead our Production Teams through a period of high change, including developing and training new methods of work as our teams transition into their new roles
- Line manage our Technical Team Leaders, Blending, Filling and Labelling Teams; leading using our high-performance framework with clear and regular communication for maximum engagement, motivation and retention
- Play a key role in opening Autosmart's new state of the art automated manufacturing site in Burntwood contributing to, and implementing, our operational plans
You will bring:
- The ability to manage a team with a passion for coaching ideally within an automated environment
- Expertise in leading a team through periods of change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of quality principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement
- A supervisory or management qualification would be advantageous
In return:
- Competitive salary, up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
- Permanent contract of employment
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4.00pm
- 40 hours per week
