Production Supervisor
£26-£30k per annum plus benefits

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based client to recruit a Production Supervisor on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor to join the operations team of a well-established manufacturer.
Key Accountabilities:
· Planning and organising the workflow to optimise performance and service, adjusting as necessary to meet customer requirements
· Ensuring products are produced on time and are of good quality
· Monitoring staff levels and requirements to meet key tasks
· Liaising with the staffing agency on additional requirements and monitoring as required
· Resolving any problems relating to customer service production requests
· Monitoring and ensuring that quality standards and controls are in operation and reporting any defective or sub-standard components
· Assisting in the investigation, testing and correction of stock issues relating to quality or packaging issues
· Ensuring the companies Health and Safety standards, code of conduct and discipline are met within the operations area
· Liaising with maintenance on machine requirements and set up
· Attending ad-hoc meetings relating to service and meeting customer deadlines
What you will need:
· Previous experience of supervising a team in a production environment is desirable
· The ability to manage workloads effectively
· Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Good planning and problem-solving skills
· Customer focused attitude
· The ability to multi-task
This a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.45pm (earlier finish on a Friday).
