As a Shift Lead, you will be required to
- Be responsible and accountable for the production team, the way it functions and the area you work in.
- Monitor performance to metrics and manage resources and priorities to achieve targets.
- Liaise with other Production Supervisors on production requirements, achievements, production issues and resourcing.
- Identify and analyse problems and introduce sustainable solutions across the other production lines.
- You would liaise with many different departments internally such as quality, maintenance, engineering and more.
- Assist supervisors with process improvements, material flows, and space management.
- Maintaining quality standards.
- Ongoing reviews of production process/flow, risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
- Encourage and motivate your team
Experience / Skillset required for this role
- 2 years of experience in a similar management role
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
