Responsibilities:
As a Shift Packing Supervisor, you will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring the efficient and effective packing of our products. Your responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Motivate and lead packing line leaders and operatives, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Organisation: Coordinate packing teams' workload, ensuring targets are met and the packing plan is executed on time. Organise resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Efficiency: Implement effective methods to improve packing outputs, rotate packaging for optimal space utilisation, and achieve required packing targets.
- Training and Development: Train, develop, and evaluate packing line leaders and operatives. Identify training needs and create development plans to enhance skills and performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality procedures. Collaborate with QA and production departments to meet quality requirements and avoid issues.
- Communication: Foster effective communication with production, QA, and other supervisors to maintain a smooth process, avoid downtime, and address any potential issues promptly.
- Safety: Uphold health and safety rules, report issues to relevant managers, and ensure proper use of machinery and equipment.
