Supervisor
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the production team to maintain quality standards, implement safety protocols, and optimise productivity.
Responsibilities of the Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team, will be managing a large team of over 150 people
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and standard operating procedures
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimise productivity
- Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments to ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Resolve any production-related issues or conflicts that may arise
- Responsible for audits
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Liasing with senior management such as directors, effective communication is very important
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6-9 months
Salary: £28 - £30 per hour

AM - 6am - 2pm
PM - 2pm - 10pm
