4on 4off shift pattern, 05:30-18:00

Our Preston site is growing once again! We are on the look out for a Production Supervisor to become an integral part of our very busy team! This is a high pressure role due to the FMCG high demand environment and responsibility required of the Production Supervisor, but very rewarding!

Main duties include (but not limited to):

• Supervising all aspects of retail production from delivering a best quality product to ensuring production KPI’s and plan attainment are met at all times.
• To drive production to ensure planned outputs are achieved precisely, economically and to the predetermined quality standards
• Ensure that lost production time is kept to a minimum and to minimise the waste of raw materials, packaging and consumables.
• Investigate any failure to achieve the agreed targets and to implement any corrective action required.
• Correctly identify all ‘Work in Progress’, ‘Residuals’ and packs from ‘End of Production runs’ and process in accordance with Technical specifications and Safety regulations.
• Ensure an exceptional level of internal/external customer service through on time deliveries and minimal customer returns.
• Manage the shift in the absence of the appointed Shift Manager and holiday cover for production schedulers.

You will have:

• Previous supervisor experience within FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes and be forward thinking
