Sutton Recruitment are accepting applications for an enthusiastic Production Supervisor with experience in the food industry to join a privately owned, independent established company who began business some time ago.

The client, a local specialist in the production of garlic breads, spreads, dips and butter portions are a forward looking business with exceptional quality standards.

As a business, they have a continuous growing client base and have a strong reputation within the food industry for professionalism and quality.

The Production Supervisorrole offers an attractive starting salary and is working Monday to Friday day shift from 0800 till 1700.

You will be joining a flexible and family friendly company that ensures a great work/life balance is received.

Main duties include:

• Reports to Factory Manager

• Six direct reports, Team Leaders

• 40 production staff, low risk and High Care

• Supporting the Team Leaders to achieve their production plan

• Five production/packing lines

• Mixing department

• Liaise with Planning for tomorrow’s production

• Labour planning and liaise with agency provider

• Report on labour costs and materials usage variance

• Management of staff holidays

• Minimising line downtime, working with the engineers

• Liaise with logistics for materials intake

• Engagement with the Technical team on product quality and GMP

You will have:

• Previous supervisor experience within FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)

• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes and be forward thinking
