Form of workDue to growth and development, we are please to be supporting our well-established manufacturing client in their search for an experience Production Supervisor. Based in the Oldham area, this role will be offered on a fill time, permanent basis and will start will immediate effect following a successful interview.
- Role:Production Supervisor
- Location: Oldham
- Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in the running of the Production Department
- Manage and monitor the production schedule, ensuring work is done in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure quality assurance is always maintained and standards are met
- Assist with planning and preparation of projects and installation
- Stock checking, purchasing, replenishing, and monitoring of all materials
- Liaising with other departments on lead times and ensuring goods are dispatched on time
- Lead a team and managing staff
- Completing inductions, appraisals, reviews, training, and HR issues including absences and time keeping issues etc.
- Maintain and monitor health and safety policies to ensure they are adhered to and up to date
- General maintenance of the plant, machinery, and vehicles etc.
- Key Holder Duties
- Providing support to managers where required
Skills and experience
- A minimum of 3 years within a similar role
- Must come from a manufacturing background
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 is preferred
- Experience in Welding/Fabrication would be ideal
- First Aid Certificate would be advantageous
