Salary: £33,228
Shift: Saturday + Sunday - either 6 am - 6pm or 6 pm - 6 am, rotating each weekend.
Permanent Position
This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join an established engineering company based in Derby.
This market leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation.
Main responsibilities:
- Work to written instructions, procedures and quality standards
- Planning the workload through the shift. Preparing the job packs & testing.
- Inspect and Book Out Batches of work
- Organise and brief the team, motivate the team to meet production targets
- Monitoring and reporting on all material effecting processing of product
- To work in a safe and responsible manner and follow company Health and Safety guidelines (a copy of which will be issued to you)
- Report breakdowns
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Good attention to detail and accurate working required.
- Good understanding of computers. Knowledge of spreadsheets advantageous.
- Engineering background
Salary / package:
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
- Life Assurance - 2 x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension
