Position: Production Support Coordinator
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE
Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our client's team as a Production Support/Scheduling Coordinator. This pivotal role involves managing the administrative aspects of our production process, ensuring smooth operations from sales order to product delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking in of Sales Orders: Accurately record and process incoming sales orders into our system.
- Raising Production Paperwork: Create and maintain production documents using Excel and other relevant software.
- Amending Sales Orders: Update sales orders as necessary based on customer requirements or changes.
- Updating Due Dates: Monitor and adjust production schedules to reflect changes in customer deadlines.
- Booking in Drawings: Manage the integration of drawings into our Quality Management System.
- Purchase of Materials: Source and procure materials required for production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Checking and Booking in Materials: Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, and log them into inventory.
- Progressing Supplier Orders: Communicate with suppliers to track the progress of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
