Staffline Recruitment are currently working in partnership with Wrightbus recruiting for Team Leaders for their Composites Department.
These roles are Temporary to Permanent
Shift 1 - Sun, Mon and Tue – 4.30pm to 5.30am
Shift 2 – Wed, Thu and Friday - 4.30pm to 5.30am
The successful
candidate will oversee the Composites Team comprising of Factory Operatives and Gel Coat Sprayers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the cost-effective paint prep, spray and finish of vehicles within the paint shop.
- Ensure compliance with night-time work regulations.
- To act as a leader within a Production Team, and to be responsible for daily and weekly production targets.
- Be a role model to team members in terms of leadership, behaviour, and attitude.
- Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and be proactive.
- Work, hands-on, within a production cell to produce and assemble parts and systems within the production build process.
- Contribute to the production management system e.g. Production Team meetings.
- Ensure work area, complies with all agreed housekeeping standards in line with 5 S’s.
- Maintain Health & Safety Policy and Procedures within the workplace.
- Help organise manpower to meet Quality, Takt and Efficiency targets.
- Provide technical knowledge for the team and mentor them on best practice.
- Raise any concerns with the Production Line Manager/First Line Manager, which may affect the business.
- Brief team operators when required.
- Ensure procedures are followed for recording of information throughout production process and for rejection of any materials.
- To be responsible for training/coaching any employee who is part of your team
- To communicate effectively to relevant Manager/Departments.
Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3/Time served in a relevant discipline
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ spray-painting experience ideally within an automotive environment.
