AddressFantastic opportunity to work as a Production Team Leader for our client's busy bakery site, in Poole.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 3 on and 3 off. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
or
- 6pm to 6am
The rate of pay is £13.87 per hour for the day shift and £17.34 per hour for the night shift.
Overtime is available paid at £20.80 per hour after working 44 hours per week.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Team Leader your duties will include:
- Ensure health and safety procedures are met and followed, promptly escalate concerns, and ensure a secure work environment for you and your team at all times.
- Allocate resources, organise tasks, and adapt plans to meet our daily manufacturing targets.
- Plan and organise material availability and equipment usage daily to meet production plans.
- Set up and operate machinery to meet specifications, minimise downtime, and reduce resource wastage.
- Maintain accurate and timely records to trace and monitor manufacturing targets, product quality, and food safety.
- Identify problems, provide solutions and implement improvements to enhance efficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with your team and other departments for seamless operations and goal achievement.
- Monitor team compliance, coach, develop and support team members. Escalate issues when necessary to ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Uphold quality standards, ensuring compliance with GMP, and ensure great customer service. Your dedication directly impacts our customer satisfaction.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have food production experience, knowledge of processes and procedures, and fantastic people skills (Communication, Motivation, Enthusiasm and Teamwork).
They will also have:
- Good Manufacturing Practice awareness
- Computer literacy
- Manual handling techniques and Health & safety knowledge
- Measures of Performance
Experience in a similar role is required. You will also be required to hold a Level 2 qualification in Basic Food Hygiene.
