My client is a leading US international law firm with an outstanding reputation in Private Equity and an inclusive and collegiate culture, they are now looking for an analytical and collaborative Professional Development Co-ordinator to join their London offices on a permanent basis.
The Professional Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Professional Development – Europe and team members, lawyers and other staff across the firm to guide and support learning and Professional Development initiatives for lawyers in the European offices.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assisting in the coordination of lawyer training programmes and Professional Development initiatives, both locally and firmwide.
- Assisting in the coordination and implementation of the London Trainees' Orientation, and Trainees' Development Programme ensuring compliance with the SRA's requirements.
- Maintaining Continuing Competence compliance records for all lawyers admitted in England & Wales to comply with the SRA’s requirements.
- Soliciting and analysing feedback and data for firmwide conferences, local and regional programmes, and Professional Development initiatives.
- Using the firm’s learning management system for all European learning events.
- Managing programme and meeting logistics.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed.
The Professional Development Co-ordinator will ideally have some experience in coordinating lawyer training and/or Professional Development programs and initiatives while working within an international team. Some working knowledge of global management systems will also be beneficial along with the knowledge of continuing professional education rules and procedures. The right candidate will have excellent organisation and attention to detail skills. It is essential to have good judgment, work well within a team and possess strong problem-solving skills.
