Hours of Work: Term time only, on Wednesday’s, 20:00 – 21:30. Course dates to be discussed at interview.
About the role
Are you an experienced Professional Development Group Facilitator? Then why not join City Lit’s Psychology, Counselling & Personal Development department to facilitate a Professional Development Group as part of the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course, SEG Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: Integrative.
The aim of the group is to support Placement work underpinned by a Professional Development curriculum and you will play a key role in creating an outstanding experience for the students. You will be required to attend meetings with other facilitators for peer support and supervision for 30-minutes before facilitating your own groups, take responsibility for classroom administration and work co-operatively within the programme area team.

You will particularly attract our interest if this covers:
- Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
- Have a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
- Significant (post qualification) experience as an Integrative Counsellor.
- Be practising as an Integrative Counsellor.
- Be in current and ongoing Supervision.
- Have BACP membership and abide by the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
