Program Manager, Events

Our client in the information technology and consulting industry is seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful launch of global corporate events. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while also providing leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will do:

• Oversee event management and manage design and copywriting support.
• Coordinate event collateral/assets including social media, and assist with various day-to-day tasks leading up to global events.
• Manage blog series and monthly build promo.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the program, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to effectively manage project resources and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communications with stakeholders and project teams.
• Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
