Job description

We are currently seeking Programme Managers with expertise in Agile Delivery and Scrum Methodology to join our well-trusted Telecommunications Client team.

As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex software and hardware projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Quality, and Operations, to ensure successful delivery of products on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Hybrid London

Contract: Initially 6 months with potential for extensions

Compensation: Competitive daily rate inside IR35

Selection Process: 2 interviews via Teams

 

Essential Experience & Interest

 

                                       •                           Extensive experience in using common tools to track, report, and communicate the status of programme deliveries: this includes Programme Management tools, Agile Delivery & Scrum Methodology tools.

 

                                       •                           A deep understanding of the challenges faced throughout the Product Development lifecycle.


                                       •                           Proven experience in delivering software or hardware programmes, with a focus on video-related products.


                                       •                           A passion for, and keen interest in, video-related products, especially in the following genres: Gaming, Fitness, Sports, News, and Music.


Key Responsibilities
                                       •                           As an experienced Agile practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of projects within an Agile framework. Leveraging your extensive experience in Scrum methodologies, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
                                       •                           Take ownership of, and manage, the coordination and delivery of End-to-End programmes ensuring alignment across teams to ensure everyone is working towards the same end goals.
                                       •                           Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources for software and hardware development projects.
                                       •                           Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Quality, and Operations to ensure alignment on project requirements and priorities.
                                       •                           Build and maintain relationships with internal and external Delivery teams to ensure alignment of cross-programme dependencies.
                                       •                           Influence and manage senior stakeholder groups and manage escalations where required.
                                       •                           Establish new or improve existing programme governance to enable effective communication across all teams and facilitate decision-making.
                                       •                           Manage programme changes, scope, and expectations in line with business objectives and KPIs.
                                       •                           Facilitate prioritisation and planning sessions with wider company teams to assess plans and changes of plans, obtaining relevant teams' plan estimates where required.
What will you bring?
                                       •                           Experience in Agile Delivery and Scrum Methodology.
                                       •                           Proven experience in managing technical programmes across diverse teams and technologies to deliver complex plans.
                                       •                           A track record of successfully engaging a wide range of teams and senior leadership groups.
                                       •                           Demonstrable ability to handle conflicting priorities and effectively communicate challenges to all stakeholder levels.
                                       •                           Previous experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
                                       •                           Confidence to engage with senior leadership, both internally and with customers.
                                       •                           Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations.
                                       •                           A strong leadership style that empowers teams to take ownership of their work, while clearly articulating the programme's plan and critical path.
                                       •                           Tenacity and a "can-do" attitude that drives and ensures cross-team collaboration.
