About this opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity within the Council’s Carlisle Southern Link Road team. The team is directly responsible for the management of the £200m project to construct a new road connecting J42 of the M6 to the A595 across the south of Carlisle.


The successful candidate will provide a variety of support to the team gaining insight and experience of project management, information management and commercial activities as part of the delivery of a major capital project.


This is an ideal first step for anyone looking to embark on a career in capital projects with the Council.
