About the Post:

In your role as Programme Manager you will lead the way in ensuring that Barnsley has a vibrant care market including residential and nursing care, home care, supported living and day opportunities. Working with a range of providers across the borough you will shape the market to respond to current and future demand and address key areas of development in areas such as workforce, digital and quality, supporting our care providers to be the best version of themselves and ensuring that people in Barnsley get the best outcomes. The role will include a number of other projects subject to capacity including a service wide review if equipment and adaptations.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in programme management. The successful candidate will be able to evidence having delivered large programmes of work to deliver improvements and show an understanding of the way both local authority and health partners work to ensure that service provision meets the needs of its population. Educated to degree level the successful candidate should also demonstrate an understanding of population needs and how these are likely to change in the future.
The successful candidate will be required to have a DBS check.
