Our client are seeking a Supporting Families Programme Manager to join the team based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full time, Fixed Term contract until March 2025 and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £57,998 - £62,878 per annum.About the Supporting Families Programme Manager role:As their Supporting Families Programme Manager you will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of the programme and transformation of services aimed at early intervention and prevention. Enabling the Supporting Families agenda, to focus on early intervention initiative to prevent the need for statutory services.You will be accountable for the performance of the programme, mobilising and utilising resources from a range of local agencies, including police, probation, DWP and voluntary sector organisations.As a highly committed and motivated individual you will lead, develop, embed and monitor the implementation of the national Supporting Families programme, working locally as a coordinator of the work of all agencies with families.The main duties of their Supporting Families Programme Manager include:To lead and manage the development and delivery of the programme and ensure that it is strategically appropriate and operationally effective, managing relevant human and financial resources/budgets either directly or via matrix reporting linesTo lead on the delivery of significant change management programmes and cross cutting service improvement across the Business Unit and organisation through management of service level agreements and contractsWorking with the internal stakeholders to develop and lead locality based early help and prevention interventions that negate the need for more intensive support, working proactively with partner organisations and keeping them up to date with processes and procedures in relation to the national agenda.Work with key stakeholders, facilitating participation and direct the work of teams to lead the review and analysis of existing services, and implement new pathways and ways of working in order to develop enhanced service offers identifying improvements, demonstrating the impact of change and driving transformationCoordinating and evaluating multi agency work, so that there is an agreed and coherent strategy and operational approach that will deliver national objectives and performance requirements, including supporting all relevant inspection frameworksLead on developing data maturity requirements in line with any relevant frameworks across the Supporting Families Programme and wider service ensuring that robust Quality Assurance arrangements are in place which incorporate the voice of children and parents in relevant QA frameworksTo liaise with colleagues at sub-Regional, Regional and national level representing the LA at relevant meetings, networks, and joint developments, acting as the nominated Programme lead for BarnsleySupport service managers to carry out robust options appraisals and to develop compelling project proposals and business casesWhat you’ll need as their Supporting Families Programme Manager:Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant field with a minimum level 7 leadership and management qualification.You will have experience of successfully working collaboratively with partners, agencies and members of the local community, building effective working relationships leading to improved outcomes for the community.
