Job Title: Parent and Family Support Worker
Working Pattern: Term time (38 weeks) + 5 days, permanent
Working Hours: 21.25 hours per week, part time, (3 days to be agreed with the candidate) 8.30am – 4pm (30-minute lunch)
Line Manager: SENCO, Deputy Headteacher, Headteacher
Main responsibilities: To manage the welfare of parents and pupils in school and provide support where needed. To engage parents and pupils in school supporting them to overcome barriers to learning thereby enabling them to achieve their full learning and social potential. Build strong links between school, parents and external agencies.

We are looking for a conscientious, hardworking and passionate person to join our staff team at Hatchell Wood. The successful candidate will provide Parent and Family support to the growing number of children and families in our school community that need it and as part of your role you would be a vital link between home and school for many families. An excellent working knowledge in ICT and English, as well as a calm, empathetic nature and a good sense of humour will all be vital!
