Programme Manager
Construction
Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week
£42,539 per annum
We are an outstanding college, with state-of-the-art facilities that are well resourced to deliver all aspects of new technology in the construction industry. Our new Programme Manager will take a lead role in effectively managing a busy department that offers full time study programmes in all trade areas, adult provision and HE.
The Programme Manager will lead a well-established, experienced team and have a minimum of 3 direct reports. Main duties include:
- Contribution to the Business and Curriculum Planning process
- Contribution to Performance Reviews throughout the academic year
- Creating and allocating teaching timetables across all cohorts
- Monitoring attendance and supporting staff to implement measures to prevent absence
- Conducting staff reviews and setting targets
- Identifying areas for CPD and ensuring staff have the required level of support
- Monitoring performance and reporting to senior management to enable effective decision making
- Carrying out lesson observations to ensure high levels of quality within teaching and learning
- Curriculum planning
- Ensuring the department is fully resourced
