As a Programme Manager, you will oversee the PMO, lead the team, run the planning, strategy and execution of tasks.
Programme Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Development of office management strategy and structure
- Ensure all required project management/delivery documentation is in place
- Determine and manage risks to the programme/project,
- Ensure compliance in reporting of project progress, and the completion of risk assessments/scope of works/all documentation,
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
- Assist direct reports in the delivery of their projects,
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
Project Management Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end,
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents,
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals,
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary,
- Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the Company,
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Be able to identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- To Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path,
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools,
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations,
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans,
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors
- Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project,
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements,
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management,
- Compliance with all ISO policies
£65,000 - £70,000 + car or allowance of £6,000
