Job description


An exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity has arisen for an aspiring, self-motivated individual to join the Diagnostic & Support Services Division at Bolton Foundation Trust as a Programme Manager to support our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) programme of work.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting and managing this specific programme initiative within the Division, alongside support and input from a variety of colleagues.
This is a key leadership role within the Trust’s Programme Management function.
The Programme Manager will work alongside clinical and operational teams to develop and progress the LIMS Programme to enable transformation and deliver sustainability, in accordance with clinical and organisation strategy.
The Programme Manager will provide a pivotal role in helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the day-to-day operations of the Trust. As an expert in and champion of organisational change and service improvement, the post holder will need high levels of self-motivation, tenacity and resilience.
Success in the role will necessitate the establishment and development of strong and effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation, with the ability to challenge and effectively support the delivery of complex, multifaceted programmes, through the application of structured project management processes and interventions.
Applicants will have strong communication and IT skills, good organisational and problem solving skills along with experience working in a project environment.
