About the role
This is a pivotal role overseeing one of the Charity's key strategic programmes. Complete Care for Parkinson's is a multi-million pound programme that aims to improve health services for people with Parkinson's.
You'll be an experienced Programme Manager with considerable experience of managing large multi-faceted programmes. You'll apply innovative programme management principles to ensure that the programme is cutting edge and delivering significant impact for people with Parkinson's.
What you'll do:
Provide overall leadership for the programme, working closely with Associate Director of Policy and Health Strategy, the Parkinson's Excellence Network Clinical Leads and colleagues leading the programmes that sit under the umbrella of Complete Care for Parkinson's
Work with sponsors and delivery leads to define, agree and regularly review plans to create an overall programme milestone plan
Lead on proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including people with Parkinson's and clinicians
Lead on building income generation leads, working with fundraising colleagues
What you'll bring:
Demonstrable track record of delivering transformation programmes as a senior Programme Manager
Strong understanding of the UK health and social care landscape, including levers for influencing service quality, and a recognition of the different health and care systems in each of the 4 nations. A strong understanding of neurological and elderly care services is desirable
Excellent relationship building skills and considerable experience of working with executive sponsors and engaging with senior stakeholders
Solid experience of working with multidisciplinary teams in delivering programmes and an improvement and user-centred mindset
