Programme Management
- Manage all aspects of an assigned customer account from an operational perspective.
- Manage NPI projects covering the full lifecycle of design, development, manufacture and delivery.
- Lead programme meetings with all relevant stakeholders including weekly project meetings with HODs.
- High levels of internal communication and liaison across departments and externally with customers, building effective and productive working relationships with all.
- Customer contact and communication (as required) which could, at certain points of a new programme, require frequent interaction. Visible, effective listening skills essential.
- Negotiation, both internal and external, is required to manage progress of a programme, through collaboration from and with others.
- You will be an enabler, to implement a path resolution of issues that might arise. This will be delivered through collaboration with departments individually and collectively; departments with accountability, this role will seek to facilitate one, agreed approach.
- Strong organisation skills are essential for effective and efficient management of programme delivery and to manage multiple account,
- High concern for detail and detail management and recording to ensure all relevant information is readily accessible and available.
- You will be required to manage programmes, sometimes at short notice, and ensure that all aspects progress in parallel. This will require, critically, focus on deadlines and timelines ensuring all relevant stakeholders are fully aware of these.
- Commercial/financial awareness to oversee any programme budget allocated.
- Programmes will require frequent receipt of data, and understanding of this, to take appropriate actions and/or follow-up on programme decisions to be made.
- You may be required, on occasion, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to purchase orders (this could include for parts, CAPEX)
- It will require the provision of programme data at any time, including completion of return requests from the customer, so accuracy and timeliness is critical.
- High volume of moving parts both internally and externally
- Direct responsibility for managing product pricing, price change tracking, scheduling and cross-company communication.
- Consistently communicate schedule milestones and progress to appropriate levels at TT Electronics and to the customer.
- Programme point of contact for the customer.
- Achieve/improve sales goals and objectives at agreed levels.
- Prepare annual business plans for each account that is managed.
- Regular face-to-face meeting or conference calls with customers supported by the issue and maintenance of a joint action plan (subject to customer requirement).
- Sales Plan generation and providing support to ensure the meeting of sales targets.
- Customer claims reporting and recovery.
- Scorecard production and transmission (including OTIF/quantity and obsolete and slow-moving stock)
- Input into annual budget generation.
- Management of an internal multi-functional project team and co-ordination of activities to ensure customers’ requirements are met.
- Responsible for ensuring the system is updated with the latest customer information (dates of orders, etc.) through the Customer Service Team.
- 3-5 years Account Management experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and application
- SAP experience / knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- Experience of CRM Platforms, preferable Salesfoce (preferred but not essential)
