Programme Manager / Senior Project Engineer

As a Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager you will play a key role within the business being responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing complex projects and programmes with our multinational client who are a global leader in automation and technology solutions.
Our client has recently entered a partnership with a global leading food group which is the driving force for the team growth, and this is set to continue, with the business advancing into new markets and making positive strides in the automation sector.
We are looking for not only a strong communicator but for someone that has excellent leadership skills who can collaborate effectively with cross functioning teams and multiple areas of the business including mechanical, electrical and software engineering, manufacturing, logistics and project execution.
Key Responsibilities of a Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager

• Manage the project timeline developing and implementing comprehensive plans out lining goals and deliverables.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project status updates to report to the customers and stakeholders.
• Manage budget and report to the budget sponsor weekly with updates, allocating resources to ensure project tasks are within budget.
• Lead and motivate project teams providing clear direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and communicate changes and variations to the project schedule and objectives.
• Resolve project issues and resource constraints.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications for a Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering and Project Management Training / Qualifications.
• Have more than 5 years experience in an engineering environment delivering multiple complex project (hardware & Software)
• In depth knowledge of project management and methodologies.
• Have a solid understanding of full Project Life Cycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Create develop project management and roll out engineering processes.
• Results driven to exceed project goals.
• Support the Head of Engineering when required.
• Strategic mindset, collaborative approach, and commitment to deliver high quality projects.
