As a Programme Manager within the Project Management Office (PMO), your primary focus is to embed and drive the company's product-led strategy, ensuring alignment with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You'll be responsible for coordinating the overall company change programme, tracking progress, and facilitating the embedding of product-led practices across all facets of the business. Additionally, you'll manage enterprise-wide initiatives beyond product development, maintain the 2024 calendar, and implement robust tracking mechanisms for actions, outcomes, risks, and issues.
Key responsibilities
Product Led Strategy oversight
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align company strategies with a product-led approach.
- Ensure that OKRs are reflected in product development initiatives and across the organisation.
- Drive the adoption and integration of product-led methodologies and principles.
- Develop and execute strategies to embed product-led practices throughout different business units.
- Facilitate workshops, training, and coaching sessions to promote understanding and adoption.
- Measure and track progress in adopting product-led approaches across departments
- Monitor and manage enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track initiatives' progress, resource allocation, and impact
2024 Calendar Management
- Create and maintain a comprehensive calendar outlining key activities, milestones, and deliverables for 2024.
- Ensure alignment of initiatives and activities with strategic goals and OKRs.
Action and Outcome Tracking
- Establish a robust system to track actions taken and outcomes achieved related to product-led initiatives.
- Regularly report on progress and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Risk and issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues associated with product-led strategies and enterprise initiatives.
- Maintain a detailed register of risks and issues, along with mitigation plans and progress tracking.
Quarterly Planning Facilitation
- Ensure consistent and aligned quarterly planning sessions for product teams, facilitating the process and alignment with company objectives.
- Support the integration of OKRs into quarterly planning sessions for product teams.
Agile Process Enhancement
- Collaborate with product squads to embed metrics and streamlined processes for agile squad reviews, including retrospectives and sprint reviews.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of agile methodologies.
