Location: South UK – Home working with ability for occasional travel in South of England

Salary: up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits

We are diverse team of over 100 colleagues delivering resident focused property solutions. We operate through a team of 50 surveyors each with a defined group of locations and each surveyor is responsible for between 30 and 40 locations.

This is an exciting time to join us as we conclude procurement of new contracts that will provide a transformational approach to how we deliver services to our residents and realise efficiencies for Anchor. To equip Anchor with the skills and capacity to realise the benefits of these contracts we are recruiting to various new roles!

The Role

As a Programme Planner you will play a crucial role in supporting the Heads of Property and Head of Projects in the planning, coordination, and execution of our property schemes. With an annual project portfolio of approximately £70m, delivering hundreds of planned investment works packages, you will be responsible for programming activities, producing progress reports, and managing procurement/design schedules for both pre-construction and live projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Stakeholder engagement with Property delivery colleagues, strategic asset management, housing and care collegues as well as contractors.
  • Accurate programming of work packages from inception to completion.
  • Implementation of project planning in collaboration with the wider property delivery team.
  • Highlighting financial and project risks and issues
  • Managing and working with Admin support to update Anchors planned works reporting systems
  • Liaising with contractors and supply chain partners
  • Leading in an environment of significant change.
  • Building a resilient and reliable service.

About You

To be successful in this role we’d like you to have:

  • Experience of working in a Housing / Care environment
  • Understanding of how to approach large, geographically spread internal/external programmes of works made up of many individual projects across multiple contracts
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • GCSE’s including Maths and English.
  • Membership of or willingness to work towards CIOB / RICs is desirable
  • Recognised experience with MS Project or other project management tools.
  • Track record of delivering construction programmes.
  • Experience with high-value, partnering contracts, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Contributing to and initiating change to improve working practices.
