PMO – (Programme – Portfolio level)

Emagine Consulting – Banking

£45,000 - £75,000

London – Onsite 3 days a week

As a PMO (Project Management Office) at Emagine Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects within our investment banking clients. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the level of expertise, ranging from mid-level to portfolio level PMOs. The following outlines the broad and standard day-to-day responsibilities expected in this role:

Project Planning and Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

  • Implement robust project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings, compile progress reports, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitate project audits and compliance reviews to identify areas for improvement and mitigate potential risks.

  • Implement standardized project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate resource allocation and utilization across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation based on project priorities and timelines.

  • Monitor resource capacity and demand, identifying potential resource constraints and proposing solutions to address them.

  • Facilitate resource forecasting and planning to support long-term project initiatives and organizational growth.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between project teams, senior management, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment.

  • Facilitate effective communication channels, ensuring timely dissemination of project updates, milestones, and decisions.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or conflicts that may arise during project execution.

Consultancy Development and Vertical Assistance:

  • Contribute to the development of consultancy methodologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior PMOs, fostering their professional growth and development within the consultancy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for vertical expansion and assist in developing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
