About the team and role:
Southbank Centre’s Literature and Spoken Word team curate a year-round programme encompassing a wide range of genres and scales, from poetry and Spoken Word, to UK and World exclusive talks with internationally acclaimed authors and artists.
The team is composed of the Head of Literature and Spoken Word, a Literature Programmer (divided as a job-share) and Programming Assistant. The Programming Assistant provides essential support across all programming activities and is responsible for managing the administrative systems which underpin the day to day functioning of the team.
Role objectives
- To provide efficient and proactive day to day PA and administrative support and assistance to the Head of Literature and Spoken Word and Literature Programmers.
- To provide efficient and courteous support, acting as an informed point of contact, to all those involved with the Head of Literature and Spoken Word and Literature Programmers, including colleagues, artists, creative practitioners, partner organisations, members of the public and any others.
