City and Islington College is recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Progress Coach on a Fixed term basis (until 04/07/24).
About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Progress Coach to work within the centre Sixth form centre at the Angel Campus to support study programme student retention, achievement, and progression through the delivery of the tutorial programme and effective target setting, progress reviews, and liaison with other relevant staff. The aim is to support our student's academic progress, but equally to promote and encourage students to develop their employability and leadership skills, alongside awareness around key areas such as health, equality and diversity and safety.
About you:
You will have experience of working with young people in an education setting and supporting their positive life outcomes, enabling them to develop and progress. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and are proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, as well as a passion for supporting students to ensure that they have access to all the support and guidance that they need to be able to be successful within their education, and beyond.

About CANDI
City Islington College is an award-winning further education college in London with centres in Holloway, Angel and Finsbury Park. The College offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses from entry levels right through to HE for young and adult learners. These include foundation learning, A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Access to Higher Education. The College also works closely with all stakeholders and offers bespoke training and development programmes.
Our Sixth Form centre located on our Angel Campus offers over 30 A Level subjects to our students, one of the largest choices in the UK, providing high level academic study for around 1,800 students wishing to progress to university.
