Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their prestigious client based in Dundee for a permanent Project Accountant to join their team. Salary is £46,000 - £54,000 depending on experience + hybrid working, 39 days annual leave and a highly competitive pension contribution.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the financial integrity of various projects from costing through to completion and all related accounting & audit. You will complete budgeting & forecasting, cash-flow & monthly management accounting including all related analysis. You will be a strong finance business partner providing sound technical financial & accounting advice to various non-financial stakeholders. You will also lead on the provision of reporting & process & system improvement. You will do this with the support of a team of accounts assistants that you will be in charge of supervising / managing.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a strong technical accounting background. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to relay financial information to non-financial stakeholders. You will ideally have project accounting experience, however this is not essential. You will have experience in staff supervision / management. You will have strong IT skills including Excel.
