Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Project and Programme Support Officer to work with the 'One Children's Service Transformation Programme' in Plymouth. This position is for 12 months and is paying £12.80 (PAYE) or £15.47 (umbrella) per hour. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.
The role:
The 'One Children's Service Transformation Programme' has 8 large-scale projects set out to deliver:
- Service improvements (improving the performance and quality of our Children's Social Care, SEND and Vulnerable Learners services)
- Service assurance (reducing demand and managing the costs of children in care placements, home to school transport and special education placements)
- Service modernisation (developing new organisational structures, processes and digital practices)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support staff across the projects and Programmes in the planning and operation of the various Boards.
- Acting as the champion and advocate for embedding standard systems and tools.
- Act as the champion and advocate for implementing guidelines, procedures and templates to collect and maintain consistent data.
- Act as a key communication link across projects and Programmes to ensure that new and existing guidelines, procedures and templates are being utilised and implemented.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the Programme Manager on the effectiveness of the guidelines, procedures and standards.
- Facilitate the creation and update of plans across the projects and Programmes.
- Support staff across projects and Programmes with the research, feasibility and delivery of low risk projects.
- Provide hands on delivery of tasks on projects.

Experience: 1+ year of experience within a similar role.
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. 2 x references.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
