The role
As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll provide administrative, financial and commercial support to the Hunter Training Project.
Day to day, you'll provide project assistance to the contract director and training manager onsite, you'll collate and produce project data and reports, be responsible for keeping track of purchase orders ensuring that logs are updated and review supplier quotes ensuring they meet the correct requirements and raise anomalies to the contract director.
- Responsible for the review of the Hunter Training Project supporting information and documentation (Wider Market Agreement, Statement of Work, Customer Services Manual and all Project Plans) to ensure they remain current
- Support the delivery of project objectives through the rigorous management and control of RFQ (request for quote) submissions and Purchase Orders raised
- Provide support to assist in the management and reporting of project resources, risks, opportunities and issues
- Collate and produce project data and reports to support governance and reporting arrangements
- Provide project assistance to the Contract Director and Training Manager
This role is full time 37- hours per week and will be based at Fareham on site.
Essential experience of the Project Assistant:
- MS Office literate to include Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work under own initiative
- Must be able to work well in a high profile team
- Must be receptive to change
- Demonstrates effective communication skills in the office and project environment
- Provides effective office management advice, guidance and support
Qualifications for the Project Assistant:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
