About the role

We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-Ordinator to provide comprehensive and effective support for the delivery of the Household Support Fund Grant Programme across West Northamptonshire. The role is fixed term until the end of October 2024 and will provide strategy and project support and expertise for the delivery of the various workstreams of the Programme.

What will you be doing?

Supporting the Senior Responsible Officers, you will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks supporting the day to day running of the various project as well as regularly reviewing and improving delivery through lessons learned. This will include communicating with customers and stakeholders, financial reconciliation, timely delivery of each project stage, investigation, analysis, and decision making and reviewing grant applications.

About you

You will have excellent communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for quality and inclusion and the ability to manage, develop and build on an already successful Programme

You will need to have proven political awareness along with negotiating, influencing and strong leadership skills.

You will have the ability to work using your own initiative, both independently and as part of a team with voluntary sector partners and delivery agents.

You will have a solid knowledge of public health priorities including demonstrable knowledge of the anti-poverty strategies both locally and nationally.
