Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our passionate and driven team based at 73 Clarendon Road, Watford
The role is a key part of the Remodel Team and is fundamental in helping to deliver a programme of store remodels in both the UK and Europe.
The working environment is fast-paced, and the programme is dynamic, therefore being able to adapt to workload at short notice is paramount.
The role will require daily contact with other departments, and also our external business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Continual maintenance of an existing comprehensive programme tracker with key milestones, dates, store details and parties involved. This is a key component of the role.
- Assisting the team in ensuring that our nominated contractors are familiar with the basic principles and requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015.
- Assisting the team in ensuring that all parties have the information they need in terms of store detail, appointment letters and contractual obligations prior to moving forward to the ‘on-site’ phase.
- Helping to identify where the processes can be improved or simplified, consulting with your manager, then implementing.
- Manage daily information received/issued electronically by way of an existing filing system on our internal drive. This is key to maintaining programme efficiency.
- Work closely with our Facilities Management team by identifying any decorative or repair/replacement works which may cross over, thereby helping to remove duplicate costs.
- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Remodel Team.
Site visits & meetings
Costing meeting
- After a period of training, you may be asked to assist with scoping meetings at individual stores across the UK along with the Capital Project Manager, contractors, suppliers, and key members of the Store Team.
- This will include recording all necessary detail by way of photographs and/or a site audit to document the extent of the works to be undertaken. This information will help to review and manage costs.
- Consult with the Store Manager and manage their expectations effectively.
Pre-start meeting
- After a period of training, you may be asked to assist with pre-start meetings for the programmed stores.
- This will include recording all necessary details discussed, issuing meeting minutes and distributing to all parties involved.
- You will need to familiarise yourself with the scope of works collated by the general contractor and identify any areas of uncertainty, potential cost savings and/or potential conflicts with store operations.
- You will need to assist the team in ensuring that all parties have the relevant information they need to commence works.
Practical completion and handover
- After a period of training, you may be asked to assist with the Handover Meeting to confirm that works have been completed in accordance with the scope and subsequently identify any incomplete/snag items.
- Liaise with general contractors and third-party service providers to ensure that the H&S files are updated.
- Review the completed remodel with the Store Manager to gain an understanding of how they felt the works progressed.
- You will need to assist with devising and implementing a quality control spreadsheet recording such things as contractor performance, number of snags, snag remediation time, and the feedback from the Store Team. How happy the Store Manager was with the works, positives/negatives.
About You:
