A well regarded Managed Services Provider are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager / Delivery Coordination Manager to work alongside their PMO team and take ownership for the resource management of their Cloud delivery team.
As the Project Delivery Manager in their Cloud division, you will be a key player in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Project Delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Allocation and Management:
- Effectively allocate and manage resources to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency in Project Delivery.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify resource requirements and address potential constraints.
- Project priortisation.
- Project Planning:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment between resources, business objectives and client requirements.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to support successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and enhance the overall quality of project deliverables.
- Work closely with teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the enhancement of Project Delivery processes, incorporating industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Delivery Manager / Cloud Operations Manager, preferably in a Managed Services Provider environment.
- An understanding of cloud technologies, including Private Cloud, Azure, AWS, and M365 would be highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle.
- Good data management, data manipulation and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Remote based with occasional travel to York.
Paying up to 60k, depending on experience.
