The Project Development Manager role comes with a rate of circa. �40p/hour in a hybrid work, with bi-weekly site visits required.

Responsibilities and duties
As Project Development Manager you will be responsible for:
* Entrepreneurial project developers, enthusiastic to create and develop sustainable energy supply solutions, e.g. utility scale batteries, H2-ready gas-fired power plants, heat pumps, e-boilers.
* Lead the development of these Clean Dispatchable Power projects from initial ideation and take end-to-end responsibility by steering the project resources towards technical, commercial and permitting maturity until the approval of your final investment proposal.
* Manage the interfaces to other corporate functions in the review process of high-quality investment proposals.
* Take ownership to structure the project milestone plan along this journey and establish a strong and clear project governance.
* Manage divergent stakeholder interests in an inclusive, yet goal-oriented way.
* Gather market intelligence and support lobbying of political and regulatory changes in respective market from a Project Development perspective.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree in a relevant subject (engineering, business administration etc)
* Minimum of 4 years of in-depth experience in developing and managing large projects, preferably within the power industry.
* Certified Project Management skills
* Experience in functional leadership of international teams in business development activities
* Strong understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of development activities

* Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent team working skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
